GTA 5 Has Sold 65 Million Copies

Yes, you ready that correctly. Take-Two’s latest earning show 65 million copies of GTA 5 have sold and shipped since its release in 2013. That is more than the last 3 Call of Duty Games combined, and about the same as the entire Halo Franchise.

GTA V was initially released in September 2013 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 before launching in 2014 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and in 2015 for PC. More than 2 years after its launch, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that GTA V and GTA Online continue to impress, with growth exceeding expectations.

Rockstar has teased  that GTA Online will add “massive, feature-rich” content updates this year. However we are still waiting on the promised single player content.
